Are you thinking of creating a website for your Craft or Design business?
Or do you already have a site that you're not happy with? If you are, Sitecrew Limited can help you. We are currently offering a low-cost, self-managed website package for just £350, specifically for craft designers and makers.
Why do I need a website?
Because it’s a great and cost-effective way to make yourself and your services known to new and existing customers. A recent UK government survey indicates that nearly 60% of UK households now have access to the Internet - nearly 14 million households. And that’s just the UK – your website is visible worldwide where there are now over one and a quarter billion Internet users. A website is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - it can be updated by you within minutes and can often provide information which will help potential purchasers to choose your services rather than someone else's.
What does this website package offer?
Our standard package includes the following features…
- Registration of a suitable domain name, eg. www.my-website-name.co.uk
- Website hosting (200MB) and up to 10 email addresses @ your domain name.
- Telephone and email support
- Creation of a website with up to 10 pages including Welcome Page, Location Details Personal
- Profile, Craft Details, Photo Gallery, News, Forthcoming Diary Events, Contact Details and Website
- Information. Pages can be turned off if not required and more pages can be added if required.
- A site style developed uniquely for you.
- Site submission to the top search engines including Google, MSN & Yahoo
- A Content Management (CMS) enabling nominated users to update the entire site content at any time.
What does 'self-managed' mean?
Our Content Management System enables you to update your craft website whenever you please from any computer with Internet access. This avoids incurring charges for adding the initial content or the mounting cost of updating it over time. Of course, if you prefer we can update the site for you for a small extra charge.
Are there any 'hidden costs'?
No - there is an on-going cost of £200 per year from the second year onwards but other than you really can have a website up and running for just £350 for the first year. You may want to spend a little extra on adding extra pages, maybe add an on-line store etc. but those features are all optional.
